"Business Entity Basics and Tax Considerations" - Presentation by Allen Merrill, AZCLDP & Don Steward, AZCLDP (2 hrs.).
Learn About: The basics on For Profit Business incorporation, Non-Profit incorporation, LLC formation, operating agreements, bylaws, shareholder agreements, employment vs independent contractor agreements, business purchase and sale agreements, and tax considerations.
"Deep Dive into Parenting Plan Drafting and Special Considerations with High Conflict Co-Parents" – Presentation by Don Steward, AZCLDP (2 hrs.).
"Ethics for LDPs from CLD"– Presentation by Aaron Nash, Director Certification and Licensing Division, Administrative Office of the Courts, (1 hr.)
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION CLASSES
Each year, prior to April 30, each Arizona Certified Legal Document Preparer must complete ten (10) hours of Continuing Education including one (1) hour of ethics. The AAIP offers approximately twenty (20) hours of continuing education classes each year. Each class is typically five (5) hours long from 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m at the Sheraton Airport Phoenix. The price of the class includes Continental Breakfast and cold and hot beverages.
